Using your practice website for patient signposting and self care

All GP practices are looking at ways of helping their patients choose the right service. At GPsurgery.net we’ve been looking at how our websites can help our GP practice clients help their patients get the right care from the right people.

We’ve developed two new buttons – labelled ‘Who do I see?’ and ‘Self care’ – for practices to use on the home page of their websites.

New GPsurgery.net Self care and Who should I see buttons

To see the buttons in action take a look at our demo site. You’ll see that the buttons click through to new pages with some template text for practices to adapt for their own use.

Our Quick Start Guide explains how to add the new buttons to your site.

We’ve also produced a Video Tutorial:

Some of our GPsurgery.net clients are already using the new buttons, including the Swadlincote Surgery in Derbyshire:
